NORTH SULAWESI (CELEBES) TOURS



MINAHASA COUNTRYSIDE :
SIC - 006
5 days- 4 nights

MINAHASA, located on the northern part of Sulawesi, is famous for its copra, nutmegs and cloves production. The friendly Minahasan with their impressive traditional dances and houses, and the natural beauty of the land are some of the reason that make MINAHASA another fascinating place to choose as a tour destination.

Day- 1 (D):
From Sam Ratulangi airport, MANADO, transfer to your hotel.
Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day - 2 (B-L-D):
Start on your highland tour, featuring visits to:
  1. the village of AIRMADIDI and SAWANGAN to see the ancient Minahasan tombs (waruga).
  2. the waterpower plan at TANGGARI.
  3. DR. SAM RATULANGl's monument at TONDANO LAKE.
  4. the sulphur springs at KARUMENGA. caves of the Japanese during 11 World War at KAWANGKOAN.
  5. LEILEM, to see the wood work home industry.
  6. the geothermal site at LAHENDONG. traditional houses in WOLOAN.
  7. TINOOR, which gives a magnificent mountain view. Return to Manado.

Day - 3 (B-L-D):
A sightseeing tour to visit:
  1. the JENGKI fishmarket.
  2. the Chinese Temple BAN HIN KIONG.
  3. the hill at BUMI BERINGIN to enjoy the view of Manado.
  4. BAHU Beach with MANADO-TUA island in the background. Rest of the free at leisure.
Day - 4 (B-L-D):
Start your COCONUT TOUR with a visit to:
  1. MAUMBI village.
  2. the coconut-flour industry at AIR-MADIDI.
  3. a fisherman village at KEMA, where you can also see copra processing.
  4. BITUNG harbour.
  5. TUNA fishmarket at AIR TEMBAGA.
  6. nutmeg processing at KAREGESAN
Day- 5 (B):
Transfer to the airport for your next destination.




BUNAKEN DIVING:
SIC - 006.D
3days - 2 nights

Day- 1 (D):
Arrive at Sam Ratulangi airport, MANADO, transfer to your hotel, followed by a city sightseeing tour. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day- 2 (B-L-D):
Start on your diving tour, lunch will be served on t he beach of the Island of BUNAKEN (2 dives, including: tanks, air and weights).

Day - 3 (B):
Free time until transfer to the airport for your next destination.
